My sewing projects for this weekend
Hey there everyone!
Hope you are all having a good weekend.
I have been sewing a little this weekend, and just wanted to share some of my plushies that I made. I can't decide whether to keep them or sell them. What do you think??

NEW Soap Shop!

Hi everyone! I know I am super horrible at updating this blog. I try to get on whenever I can! I have so many sites to keep up with, and sometimes this one gets left in the dust :-( I will try to be better about it!
Anywho, I had a busy day today! Trying to come up with some new items for both my shops. I am excited about some of the things I have been sketching out, and hope to have some cute new things up soon! Yesterday I listed some new soaps in my NEW soap shop, as well as cute cotton washcloth sets!
I also updated my website this morning. It has a link to my facebook fan page if you aren't already a fan! I only have like, 16....I would love some more!
Speaking of, please visit the site for the info on the new shop, as well as to join the fan club on Facebook! Thanks!

Here's the info:
I am making a "Happy Customers" album on my Myspace and Facebook pages.
To do that, I need photos of happy customers!

Weekend, Weekend...you go by so fast
This weekend is already flying by. I am trying to make tons of new things for my shop!
I really wish the economy wasn't so horrible right now. I would love to be able to do etsy full time. I am looking right now at trademarks and all that good stuff (which is super confusing).
I am thinking of starting a contest. I have all sorts of goodies that I never renewed on etsy that I can use for prizes. I think tomorrow I will make a final decision and post more info.
I am also looking into doing craft shows. It's hard, here, though, because it's so darn hot! There are a lot of shows up north, but it's hard to figure out what exactly you have to do to sign up. I will keep trying to figure it all out, though. It definitely doesn't seem like it will be cheap.
Today I have been working on some floral wrist pincushions. I just have to buy some more velcro to finish them up!

Birdwatching's Etsy Shop Goes Multilingual!
I was sitting here watching an informercial that I had seen before...only this time it was in Spanish. It got me thinking, it must really help to put out your information in multiple languages for them to make a whole new commercial to appeal to Spanish-speakers.
So, I visited iGoogle, and to the best of my ability, started translating some of my shop info into Spanish and French (the two languages most spoken, besides English, by my customer base). I am interested to see if it help with sales any, or if they stay the same. I figured I may as well give it a shot. Can't hurt!
Here is a look at my shop now (please click image to enlarge) :

Poster Sketch : N I N J A
I am home from work and decided to put together a poster sketch of themed items. Today, the theme is NINJAS!
I hope you enjoy the finds. The items unfortunately are not clickable right now but on future ones I am going to hopefully remedy that. If you see something you like, just search for the person's shop under "sellers" in the etsy search bar.
Enjoy!

BirdWatching Designs Announcements: Radio Mention
Also, I was invited to sell at a four-day bird-watching festival in April! The lady who runs the festival got my web address from a friend and really wants me to sell at it. I got the official application so I might be doing that!
Not sure if I am going to be able to make it to the Artist Market this weekend. I really want to go because it's supposed to be pretty busy...but it's supposed to rain and be cold, and my back is hurting. They announced I'd be there on the radio so I kinda feel like I should. We'll see how it looks tomorrow.
I have one more custom owl to finish and then I can go back to making new things for my shops. Sales were great the past week or two and have sorta slowed down now. I am hoping some new items might make things pick back up. We shall see!
Well, I am getting tired. I should probably head to bed! Good night!
